He is one of the world’s leading authorities on analyzing music with the use of computers. Experiments in Musical Intelligence, created by Cope, is a software program, which creates new composite songs based on the common notes and tendencies of musical work. Professor Cope is the subject of a video release, “Bach lives at David Cope’s House.” He is the author of five books; his newest book is entitled “The Algorithmic Composer.”

He has worked with numerous multi-cultural recording artists and labels. John conceived and created the idea of the World Anthem while working with a recording label release “National Anthems of the World” by composer Stephen Bigger for the 1996 Summer Olympics. John’s research led him to approach Professor David Cope and Stephen Bigger to collaborate on the World Anthem Project.

Stephen has been involved in the music industry for twenty years. He arranged a complete set of national anthems for the Atlanta Olympics and is the arranger of the “National Anthems of the World” CD. This release was the impetus for the World Anthem project.
